BUENA VISTA, Colorado – Country music star Dierks Bentley visited Colorado Parks and Wildlife after being caught fishing without a license during the Seven Peaks Music Festival in Buena Vista.
The country pop musician posted a photo on Instagram on Sunday, commenting on how he captured more fish than Bryan, Luke Bryan.
"@lukebryan only caught one and it's my third in 30 minutes … not that it's a competition … totally not," Bentley wrote.
But Monday morning, his slight boasting seemed to be right of him. Bentley posted a video on Twitter explaining that he was receiving a ticket from a CPW agent to fish without a license.
"Hey Luke, those fish that we caught at Cottonwood Creek this weekend at Buena Vista? Yeah, we should probably get a fishing license next time because I just got arrested," Bentley said. "You're next," he joked.
Little head in the air Lukey. Hardy …..?! ?
In fact, enjoy the ticket. Enjoy being treated like an ordinary person. Enjoy what @COParksWildlife Is. I will be allowed everything until next time! @ LukeBryanOnline @HardyMusic pic.twitter.com/m13EWYrXsN– Dierks Bentley (@DierksBentley) September 2, 2019
