Country superstar stops in Fowlerville and leaves her mark in the community

FOWLERVILLE, Mich. (WILX) – 20,000 Luke Bryan fans swarmed Fowlerville to see one of their favorite country artists perform.

Concert goers tell News 10 they’re just thrilled to have a big event like this after a long period of downtime due to the pandemic.

“I’m so excited for the city that I haven’t seen it live, so I’m super excited, I think it’s gonna be a good time,” said Carra Burnie, concert assistant.

Kubiak Family Farms is tucked away in Fowlerville, a small town in Michigan that doesn’t usually get big names like Luke Bryan. But with thousands of people in the area, local businesses will see a big increase in their income.

“There are a lot of small party stores and businesses around so hopefully they’ll get some business. I think it will be good for the city, ”said Burnie.

Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour gives local farms the opportunity to contribute to the event. Caleb Kubiak, whose family farm hosted the event, said they would happily do so if the opportunity arose.

“We’ve never done anything like this before, so it’s pretty cool. Not much has happened with Covid and everything in between and I’m just so happy to finally celebrate and enjoy it with my family and friends, ”Kubiak said.
