Courtney Stodden asked Chrissy Teigen to “be nice” after the model dubbed herself a member of the “cancellation club.”
Stodden, who released as a non-binary in April, took to TikTok on Thursday to post a video of themselves laughing at a screenshot of Teigen’s latest Instagram update on the how she’s been since being accused of bullying.
Stodden, 26, then appeared before a picture that read, “Just be nice.”
In the caption, they included the hashtags #bully, #bekind, #mentalhealth and #chrissyteigen.
Teigen, 35, released a lengthy statement about his mental health on Wednesday following Stodden’s claims that the author of the cookbook “Cravings” had already told them to kill themselves.
“[I] feel like crap in real life, ”Teigen wrote. “Going outside sucks and doesn’t feel right, being home alone with my mind makes my depressed head run. But I know the way I’m handling this now is not the right answer. I feel lost and I need to find my place back, I need to get out of it, I desperately want to connect with you guys instead of pretending it’s okay.
In May, Stodden alleged to Teigen, “She wouldn’t just publicly tweet that she wanted me to ‘take a nap’ but she would tell me privately and tell me to kill myself. Things like, “I can’t wait for you to die. “
Teigen was quick to express how sorry she was, saying she was “mortified” by her past comments and “unsure” at the time.
But the apology didn’t seem to save Sports Illustrated’s coverage of cancellation culture, as his career apparently took a hit in the wake of the accusations.
Teigen ditched the Netflix comedy “Never Have I Ever,” with Gigi Hadid taking its place, and her line of cookware was pulled from Macy’s website in the wake of the scandal.
