Twenty more cases of COVID-19 were reported today, bringing the total number of county residents who have tested positive for the virus to 2,672.
Humboldt County also today reported five new hospitalizations related to COVID-19 for a total of 13 this week, which is more than any previous week in the pandemic. Public health officials stressed that hospitalizations were a few weeks behind the increase in cases and urged residents of the county to be vigilant and follow all preventive measures, noting that simple precautions can have a bearing. big impact when everyone respects them.

Anyone, especially those without a provider, can fill out the interest form to be notified when appointments are available, and more than 10,700 county residents have completed the form to date.
