More than 80,000 non-essential workers are expected to return to their workplaces on Monday.

There is a weekly testing mandate for the unvaccinated that will come with a message that they should get vaccinated.
DC 37, the city’s largest public union, is calling on the city to develop a hybrid schedule.
“The only way to get people vaccinated at this point is to use both strong incentives and mandates. And to say we’re going to delay, delay, delay, is a saying to tell people that they don’t. no need to be vaccinated and that we “I’m not going to fight back and serve people like we have to. I’m not doing that,” de Blasio told WNYC.
The state has postponed the return of its employees until October 12.
