The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to sign a $ 105 million, five-year contract with defenseman DeMarcus Lawrence, with a $ 65 million guarantee, a source told ESPN.

In 2018, Lawrence finished with 10.5 sacks and 39 quarterbacks and was named to the Pro Bowl for the second year in a row. The coaches awarded him 47 tackles and 12 tackles for loss. He also had an interception, a fumble recovery and two forced fumbles, while he was playing with a shoulder injury.
He became the first Cowboy to release consecutive seasons with double-digit bags since DeMarcus Ware in 2011-12.
Lawrence had five of his 10.5 sacks in the first four games of the season. He closed the season with a bag in each of the last two games.
