Crash Team Racing presents the game modes in a new trailer

We saw the improved visuals, the personalization of the kart and the characters and the courses. Now it's time to take a look at some of the new game modes of Team Racing Crash with nitro fuel. Activision's new trailer features some of the modes we can expect to discover: adventure mode, battle mode, racing with friends and online competition.

Each mode is pretty self-explanatory, especially if you've already played them. Adventure mode guides you through history and allows you to discover all the courses and the different bosses, the battle mode puts you against your friends in a smaller arena with many weapons, the race with friends allows you to share the screen with up to four friends online to you … well, compete online.

Adventure mode will have an optional extra setting. Although you can choose to play in a classic way, the nitro setting will change things a bit. In classic mode, you play Crash Bandicoot with a kart in a difficulty all along. The nitro powered mode allows you to activate any of these elements at any time, modifies your HUD, lets you choose between three difficulty settings and changes the look of other runners.

Despite these changes, there still seems to be a lot of familiar territory. You have your Roo Roo, your drifts in every corner and your "woahs!"
