MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The country music star, Travis Tritt, was "really shaken" after his coach was involved in a fatal crash on Highway 22 early Saturday morning, reports Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Tritt and his team were leaving Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, when the accident occurred. He stated that his tour bus had been swept aside and suffered minor damage "while we were trying to avoid the crash site in front of us".
"Thank God, we're all fine," he wrote. "I feel so bad for those who died needlessly tonight. I am really upset by what I saw. God bless those who are dead. "
Tritt, a Georgian national who lives in Hiram, said that he had been informed that the accident had been caused by a bad driver who "was driving obviously intoxicated or impaired" .
The Horry County emergency teams reacted to the wreckage around 3am. A jeep in the wrong direction sank against a Chevrolet truck, said the cap. Sonny Collins with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, reported the Charlotte Observer.

The driver of the jeep and a truck passenger were killed in the accident, Collins said. The driver of the truck went to the hospital.

"I beg everyone to kindly please, please, drive sober please," tweeted Tritt. "Know when to admit that you are too weak to drive."
Tritt and The Cadillac Three are scheduled to perform tonight at the Anderson Music Hall in Hiawassee.
Tritt tweeted Saturday that the show "must and will continue".
Many people asked us if our concerts would continue to play tonight and tomorrow night despite the accident we were involved in early this morning. The answer is yes". The show must and will continue. Very grateful to all those who have expressed their concern.
