Creative friends share update on possible meeting series

friends Creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane presented a definitive update on the possibility of a series of reboots or reunions – and the answer is still the same.

"We will not do a reunion show, we will not do a restart," Kauffman said at a news conference. friends Panel organized on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Tribeca TV Festival on Friday, September 13th.

Crane then agreed, "We did the show we wanted to do, we did it well and we greeted it."

The co-creators had already ruled out the possibility of a series of reunions in June, Kauffman recounting Associated press: "Why ruin a good thing? We would not want a meeting to disappoint the fans."

Her comments came after Jennifer Aniston had teased that she would be willing to find her former casting mates and that she would be interested as well.
