Cyborg screams found a new home – the MMA superstar signed with Bellator after being separated from the UFC.
"Hi Cyborg Nation fans, I'm very happy to announce that I'm going to collaborate with Scott Coker and Viacom – I'm going to fight at Bellator," said the legend of the fights.
"And, you know a lot of girls want to fight at 145 pounds and that means you're going to fight a lot every year and I'm very happy about it."
The 34-year-old had clashed with the honcho of the UFC Dana White earlier this year – and White had said that he was will release Cyborg from his contract.
"I will not accept any offers, she is free and free to go to Bellator or any of these organizations and fight," White said in August … adding, "We are no longer in Cyborg's business. "
Well, Bellator wasted no time recovering her … and it seems pretty obvious that Cyborg – who is 21-2 as a pro – will get an immediate win against the title. Julia Budd, the defending featherweight champion.
Budd is 13-2 with only 2 career losses in Ronda Rousey and Amanda Nunes.
It looks like Cyborg is more interested in this later, because she says she hopes to be one of the most decorated fighters of all time once arrived at Bellator.
"My goal will be to be the only fighter to hold four different main tiles in the same division and I know with you that I can do it.And, I just want to say, Cyborg Nation, Welcome to Bellator!"
History in development …
