Critics rate Sia’s movie soundtrack below Cats

In one of Sia’s many bad takes on her hugely problematic film Music, the director / singer told everyone to wait until the release to form a “correct” opinion as if the cast, trailer and its responses weren’t enough reason to throw this production in the trash .

And how she convinced young actress Maddie Ziegler to do the role even though Maddie was uncomfortable doing it (Sia failed that girl so much).

And why you don’t have to watch the movie to get a “good” opinion if you’re already put off by the trailer.

But for the sake of this article, let’s say some people actually want to see for themselves despite the red flags that appear whenever you mention this movie. Well, here’s what they do, according to the reviews:

Listen. I wish the movie didn’t exist at all, but since we can’t have nice things, my next hope was that Sia would actually listen to the comments and make changes instead of… uh… this:

So, THEN, I was hoping, with those unwarranted Golden Globes, “we clearly did zero point zero percent research on this movie because if we knew that, we would know it was a bad look” nomination , followed by the endless number of apologies, which Sia would AT LEAST do well on her promise to add warning labels for detention scenes before removing them entirely from future releases.

So, with nothing on my wishlist for this movie to have happened, I’m delighted that the movie is universally analyzed to the point that THIS is considered a better time:

This is exactly what should happen to him because there is absolutely no excuse for Music be as callous as she is. Sia had every chance to do good Music but chose to convince a child to play a role that completely rejects the community on which it is based. Now that the movie is out, I just watch the critics hammer home the fact that it’s not and never was to begin with.

Normally I roll my eyes when a celebrity knocks over and runs away, but Sia wasn’t offering anything of value with that. Every response was terrible and only served to hurt the autistic community which prompted home the fact that she really didn’t give anything away and just wanted to do a musical (which she could have done). do WITHOUT its representation of autism). She gave people every reason not to support this film, right down to the critics’ abysmal scores.

Hope everyone uses this as an example of what happens when you cover your ears with your hands to block out honest feedback from the community you are trying to represent.

Frankly? She can just stay off Twitter and never direct a movie again.
