Baltimore signed a three-year contract with 31-year-old Crabtree last year, hoping the regular veteran could lead their wide receiver. However, he had an uneven season, more defined by his shortcomings than by his successes.
In 16 starts, Crabtree has only 54 assists for 607 yards and three touchdowns. In seven regular season games with Lamar Jackson as a starter, Crabtree had 13 catches for 135 yards and one touchdown. Its production has dropped in the last two seasons.
Crabtree led the NFL in free fall and had several declines in Cleveland during week 5, including a possible winner.
