A cruise company sent letters with modified itineraries to passengers who booked their cruise on one of their cruise ships.

Royal Caribbean has changed the routes for cruises on Allure of the Seas due to a technical problem reported by RoyalCaribbeanBlog.com. Cruise Critic changed the total number of routes to 25.

The cruises are modified for technical reasons with one of the three azipods of the ship. The vessel will have to cruise at a reduced speed so that stops have been slightly modified.

Allure of the Seas offers three different routes over the next five months. Some itineraries will only have port schedules adjusted, others replace a stop at St. Thomas for a visit to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

All shore excursions booked via Royal Caribbean for port calls that have been swapped will be automatically refunded.
