Crusader Kings 3 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X

Crossed Kings 3 brings kingdom management to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The console release of one of the best games of 2020 was announced at Gamescom 2021 on Tuesday during Microsoft’s Xbox stream.

The console version of Crossed Kings 3 is developed by Lab42 in partnership with the original developer Paradox Interactive. The new version of the game should feel familiar to anyone who has played the PC version of the game, with a few differences only for consoles.

According to Paradox, there are new features specifically designed to take advantage of the unique functionality of each console. The Xbox Series X version will allow gamers to quickly switch between Crossed Kings 3 game and YouTube, to help find tutorials and information. Meanwhile, the PlayStation 5 version of the game will feature unique interactions between the in-game stress mechanic and the DualSense controller that will allow gamers to feel every moment of in-game tension.

Of course, the console version will still have all the royal storylines and ridiculous family trees that helped make the PC version of the game so great. One thing that doesn’t appear to be in the console version is the game’s Northern Lords DLC from earlier this year.

Crossed Kings 3 will release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, but no firm date has been announced. The game will also be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
