The Pacific Dawn has been delivered to its new owners, Ocean Builders, and is now officially the crypto cruise ship, having been renamed Satoshi.
The first 100 cabins are also open for auction from November 5 for aspiring residents, with the company accepting bids for the cabins on its website. Eventually, plans call for the auction of 777 cabins that will become apartments on the ship.
The ship will eventually be moved off the coast of Panama where it will become a kind of technological center. It will be accessible by ferry from Panama City, with the company noting that it will take 30 minutes by ferry to reach the ship.
The company said the ship will be a business-oriented environment where “you can relocate your existing business, set up a new global headquarters, or come in and start a new business and be supported in an environment of like-minded entrepreneurs.”
Company documentation says the moves will begin in January.
