Santiago de Cuba. – The participants of the XXXVIII Festival of Fire visited the central streets of the city of Santiago de Cuba, a traditional activity known as the Parade of the Serpent

From the Plaza de Marte to Parque Cespedes the groups that carry the original culture and traditional Cuba and the participating countries showed to the most authentic public of the Caribbean folk art and other parts of the world

Artistic delegations of Puerto Rico, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Mexico and Cuba have filled the show of colors and popular joy that has closed with the best of contagious rhythm of the conga santiaguera.

The parade was presided over by the authorities of the Communist Party of Cuba and the Government in Santiago de Cuba; Orlando Vergés, director of Casa del Caribe; Milagros Rivera, Puerto Rico-Cuba Solidarity Committee, and Puerto Rican singer Andy Montañés
