Freight air transport is expanding in Latin America in May

In the region, tons of freight per kilometer increased 11.4 percent year-on-year, while capacity increased 1.5 percent, the report added. The indicator has reached an expansion of 4.2%.

Similarly, with respect to pbadenger demand, Latin America recorded an increase in international demand of 7.5% in May over the same period. In 1965, capacity increased by seven percent and the load factor by 0.4 percentage points to 81.6 percent.

Pbadenger traffic increased by 6.1% over the same month of the previous year, a subdued growth compared to six percentage points in April 2018.
