The University of Havana awards diplomas to some 1,800 young people

Havana, Cuba. – The University of Havana has graduated this academic year to nearly 800 thousand young people and in its nearly 300 years of creation it has graduated 178 thousand students, said the rector of the school, Gustavo Cobreiro.

In the central act of graduation of the institution corresponding to the 2017-2018 teaching period, said that the University has trained thousands of professionals, highly qualified and committed to the homeland.

Ania Terrero, the most outstanding full graduate of the regular course of the University of Havana, thanked the professors for overseeing their training and stressed the importance of meeting the challenges of the country's transformational processes.
