VENEZEULA .- The Horseman Ángel Rivas dominated the second stage of the 55th edition of Vuelta Ciclista a Venezuela 2018 which took place this Friday in the # 39, state Trujillo .

Rivas scored a time of 4 hours 0 minutes 6 seconds (4:00:06) on a circuit of 160.8 kilometers, reported the Venezuelan Federation of Cycling (FVC) in a Twitter message.

Leonel Quintero came in second and Alain Quispe of Peru was third. The competition started this Thursday in Maracaibo, in the state of Zulia, where took place the first stage that the Italian Mateo Maluccelli conquered.

The Cycling Tour continues this Saturday in the state of Lara, where participants will travel 187.5 kilometers according to the program of the event broadcast by several national media outlets.

This edition includes 10 sections and ends on July 16 in Valencia, in the state of Carabobo. 140 national and international cyclists participate in this event.
