Puerto Rican Adriana Diaz became the third-ranked table tennis player to win four gold medals in the same Central American and Caribbean Games.

Díaz won her fourth gold medal on Tuesday by beating Colombian Paula in the individual final Medina in six sets, with scores of 11-5, 11-4, 11-9, 7-11, 8-11, 14-12

Before, in the semifinals, the Puerto Rican won the victory against Mexican Yadira Silva, who she beat in seven sets with 12-10, 9-11, 11-8, 9-11, 4-11, 11-5, 14-12.
