Delegates at the Fiesta del Caribe will pay homage to Cuban heroes

Santiago de Cuba. – The participants of the XXXVIII Fire Fighters Festival will pay homage this Thursday to the cemetery of Santa Ifigenia in Santiago de Cuba to the national heroes and the founding personalities of the Caribbean Festival.

Up to the site of the National Monument, the delegations present They will settle in the Heritage Corridor to lay flowers to José Marti, Manuel Carlos de Céspedes, Mariana Grajales and the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution , Fidel Castro.

They will also visit the tombs of the intellectual Joel James Figueroa, founder of Casa del Caribe and promoter of Fiesta el Fuego, as well as the poet Jesús Coss Causse and researcher Manuel Vila.

For this Thursday, the program of the Caribbean Festival has reserved for the streets of the city, the traditional parade of the Snake and the welcome activity of the Government of Santiago to the guests of the event.
