Certificates of Excellence TripAdvisor 2018 for eleven Meliá Hotels in Cuba

Eleven hotels of Meliá Hotels International Cuba have been awarded with the 2018 Excellence Certificate from TripAdvisor's popular website, Maité Artieda, Meliá's Director of Communications and Public Relations, told the press Cuba. The award is given annually to institutions that have consistently received good reviews from site users throughout the year and pay tribute to institutions that demonstrate a sustained work in hospitality, offering a high quality service.

The hotels are Meliá Las Américas, Meliá Santiago de Cuba, Sol Cayo Coco, Meliá Habana, Paradisus Río de Oro, Meliá Las Antilles, Meliá Cayo Coco, Meliá Cohíba, Meliá Varadero, Meliá Buenavista and Meliá Marina Varadero Apartments. The first seven hotels on this list got this certification last year and have received it again this year.

This TripAdvisor Certificate acknowledges Meliá's commitment to distinguished service and performance. Meliá is the leading company in the sector in Spain and has been operating in Cuba for almost 30 years. The Cuban market is the third largest of the group after Spain (163 hotels) and Germany (33 hotels).

As announced by this Spanish hotel chain, Meliá will begin this year to manage eight new hotels in the cities of Cienfuegos, Trinidad. and Camagüey, in central Cuba, for a total of 931 rooms. Meliá plans to operate 40 hotels on the island. Meliá currently has more than 370 establishments in 43 countries.
