Pupo, Álvarez and Pérez increased the advantage in the final round and finished with 1,713 units, 1,670 Venezuelans and 1,666 Colombians.

Individually, Alvarez was tied with Venezuelan Douglas Gómez at the top of the first stage, with 290 points, followed by Pupo, with 287.

Álvarez also led the second phase, with a cumulative total of 582, in front of Pupo (577) and Gómez (575).
The final was played between the two Cubans, but Álvarez scored 27, one point behind Pupo and seven from Colombia's Bernardo Tobar.

The record for the Games of Central America and the Caribbean continues in the hands of Pupo, with the 29 results obtained in the previous edition of Veracruz 2014.
