Daniel Barenboim presents his concert with the Berlin State Orchestra

Daniel Barenboim will conduct the orchestra in a complete cycle of Johannes Brahms's symphonies: in which the N will be heard ° 1 in C minor, opus 68, and No. 2 in D major, op. 73.
The Concerts of Daniel Barenboim and Staatskapelle Berlin at the CCK are conducted as part of a joint effort to integrate public media deployed in an unprecedented collaboration between the Federal System of Media and Public Content, the Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires and the Ministry of Culture of the Nation.
Daniel Barenboim made his debut as a director in London in 1967 with the Philharmonia Orchestra and has been called on numerous occasions to participate with the best orchestras around the world. He was principal conductor of the Paris Orchestra (1975-1989) and musical director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (1991-2006).
Since 1992, Maestro Barenboim has been General Director of Music at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden. In 1999, with Edward Said, he created the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra and in 2000, the Staatskapelle Berlin named him conductor for life.
He is musical director of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and since 2015, talented young musicians from the Middle East are studying at the Barenboim-Said Academy of Berlin, another initiative founded by Daniel Barenboim, who received numerous awards and published several books.
With a history dating back to 1570, the Staatskapelle Berlin is one of the oldest orchestras in the world and constitutes a fundamental element of the Berlin State Opera, as it is in most of the functions of the ballet and opera of this institution. Master Daniel Barenboim was appointed General Music Director of the Staatskapelle in 1992.
