LA PAZ.- The president of Bolivia E v Morales was successfully operated on a "small tumor" detected during a routine check-up, revealed Agent himself in his Twitter account

Morales, 58, posted on the social network a photo of him during a medical examination in a hospital bed and stated that he would be released this Thursday.

"Very grateful for all their solidarity, their prayers and their blessings, they detected in a routine journal a small tumor that had already been operated satisfactorily in an emergency, but without risk," writes the president. "I'm fine, 100 points!", He added.

The Bolivian government said the president had been involved in a private clinic in La Paz, the country's capital. The authorities have not given details about where the tumor was found in his body.

Morales, the first indigenous chief in the history of Bolivia, intervened last year in Cuba to remove a benign tumor found in his throat.
