A crowd of santiagueros, santiagueras and from people from other parts of the country and the world, were concentrated along the so-called city walk to attend this celebration, which was led by the highest Party and government authorities in the Province, members of the Central Committee Lázaro Expósito Canto, Hero of Labor, and Beatriz Jhonson Urrutia, Vice President of the State Council, respectively.

Prior to the fireworks show, the attendees enjoyed an artistic show that included, inter alia, with the dancers and extras of the show Frenesi of the cabaret Tropicana Santiago, the so-called men's carriages and the magic lights and sound designed by the group Locomotion.
