The Sol Cayo Hotels Coco and Meliá Cayo Coco, both of the tourist destination Jardines del Rey, have been recognized for the second year in a row with the TripAdvisor website's Certificate of Excellence, which confirms that they remain in the preference of visitors.
These facilities are joined by nine others: Meliá Las Américas, Meliá Santiago de Cuba, Meliá Habana, Paradisus Río de Oro, Meliá Las Antillas, Meliá Cohíba, Meliá Varadero, Meliá Buenavista and Meliá Marina Varadero Apartments.
Since 2011, TripAdvisor awards certificates of excellence, taking into account the positive opinions that customers share across this platform, referring to the quality of services in schools.
The two Avilanian hotels are located in the beach area of Las Coloradas, which received last June the status of Playa Ambiental granted by the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment.
Although it was severely damaged by the pbadage of Hurricane Irma in September 2017, Jardines del Rey was able to resume operation in a few months, in many cases with more favorable conditions and greater comfort for customers.
The polo, located north of Ciego de Ávila, currently has 17 hotel facilities in which seven thousand 173 rooms are distributed and another 500 will be added at the end of the year with the opening of the western part of Punta Raza hotel.
