With the presence of prominent national athletes, authorities and the general public, today, Sunday, July 22, in the Plaza de Armas of our capital, we will proceed to the ignition of the clock that will start the countdown of the biggest sporting event that has taken place in Peru: the Panamerican and Parapan American Games in Lima 2019.

This activity, which will take place in the historic center of Lima, will be hosted by the head of Copal, Carlos Neuhaus; Mayor Luis Castañeda Lossio and the director of the Peruvian Institute of Sports (IPD), Oscar Fernández.

Starting at three am, the Lima 2019 circuit will be activated to promote the sports that will be competing at the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games. , including basketball and wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball and tennis, golf, shooting and shooting, football and soccer 5, and bowling.

There will also be spaces for taking pictures with athletes and For athletes, as well as a space where children can practice different activities such as games, painting, etc.

It should be noted, in the context of "A year of Lima 2019" that, to this day, already the five greatest works have been awarded for these games: Villa de Atletas, Villa Maria del Triunfo, Videna, Callao and the Villa El Salvador Sports Center. INAUGURATION

The Panamerican Games of Lima 2019 will open on July 26th at the National Stadium. The continental competition will bring together 6,680 athletes from 41 countries and delegations from all over America.
