ERP. Peru attains 197 years of national independence in a context of uncertainty and conflict between unrepresentative political organizations, institutions devalued by corruption that corrode them, and with a congressional composition that does not guarantee a proposal for getting out of these unfortunate moments.

As we recall, the national independence took place on July 28, 1821, when Don José de San Martín left the palace in the Plaza Mayor of Lima to preside over the ceremony that consolidates this event historical. From that moment on, he ceased to be a colony and began the process of consolidating what is now called the Republic.

The Peruvian Independence Act was signed a few days ago, on July 15, 1821, after being written by the arqueño Manuel Pérez de Tudela. With this document, Peru has declared its independence from the Spanish Crown. This was not an easy act and in this gesture participated many heroes and liberators who helped defeat the realistic army.

During the first decades, Peru, as now, was involved in a political instability that did not allow a consolidation that allows the full development of the country. Military and politicians supported by them, became the presidents of the Republic; However, little by little, the influence of the French Revolution has influenced Peruvian politicians and academics to consolidate the system of government.

After overcoming a brutal regime to which dictator Alberto Fujimori was subjected, a national agreement made it possible to define the country's future. Since the government of Mr. Valentín Paniagua, has maintained a regularity and alternation of government, which have not been exempted from critical problems due to the lack of an electoral system to ensure a handover to empower leaders with better legitimacy.
