Camagüey, July 31.- This province reached fifth place in the Pioneering Pathfinders National Competition, developed from the 21st to the 28th July in the municipality of Guantanamo Niceto Pérez.

The Agramontine troupe, represented by 16 children from Pepito Tey Elementary School, located in Jimaguayú, won four gold medals in Orientation modalities by natural means, competences of the # 39; explorer of the bed and the development of traditional dishes.

Osvaldo Don Rodríguez, provincial technician of the Pioneer Pathfinders Movement (children's and adolescents' groups, from the fourth year of primary school to grade 9, from the basic secondary school), highlighted the Camagüey's overall results in this type of contest, because after winning first place in the Central Region, students demonstrated a good level of skills and competencies to compete with their peers in the country.

The pioneers of Jimaguayú are a sample of what can be achieved in the Movement of Explorers, which applies changes in their actions as followers of our History, where learners They must dominate the biography of the martyr of the center of 39, study, history of their locality and province.
