The meeting will be a good place to expose the linguistic reality of Paraguay from official languages, indigenous and foreign languages and the sign language that coexists in the country.
According to the organizers, the program of the event includes panels and lectures on the different languages present in the department and in the country.
In addition, the projection of documentaries on languages, successful experiences in the use of official languages, native, foreign and signs in different languages.
From the fair, -define the sources-, it is planned to sensitize the Paraguayan society to the existing linguistic diversity.
According to the latest census data, in 59.2 percent of households speak Guaraní. In 35.7 the predominant language is Spanish, while in 5% other languages are spoken.
