Oscar Casanella, friend of Cuban scientist Ariel Ruiz Urquiola, was summoned by State Security on Wednesday for questioning.
According to his statements to Diario de Cuba the authorities of Isla "are angry" for the outcome of the international campaign for the liberation of the biologist.

The biologist was sentenced to one year in prison for the alleged crime of contempt of the authorities, after multiple irregularities in the process. Thousands of Cubans and strangers took part in a campaign through social networks and the media, demanding that the government release it.
