The women's volleyball team finished ninth in the Panamerican Cup played in the Dominican Republic and must play in the repechage if they want to participate in the Pan American Games in Lima 2019.
After finishing fourth in Group C, the Argentines defeated Costa Rica 3-0 and, in their last game, beat Mexico 3-1 (23-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-19), to finish ninth.
To qualify for the next tournament in Peru, the Panthers must play a repechage that will decide the last two places of the tournament.
