From this Tuesday and until Saturday, July 28, the traditional Santiago Espirituano will be held, for the pleasure of the inhabitants of Sancti Spíritus and visitors.
the festivities are distinguished by the parade of floats and comparsas, which in addition to appearing in front of the Central Platform, will cross other parts of the city.
On July 25 will be celebrated the Day of Espirituano and Guayabera, to honor those who although they reside in other parts of the country, they maintain links with their homeland and with the article of clothing which, according to historians, is native to this region of Cuba.
Santiago Espirituano had a religious origin to venerate Santiago Apóstol, and with the pbadage of time, it became the main celebration of the Villa of Sancti Spíritus
