Hanoi (AVI) – The Speaker of the Australian House of Representatives, Tony Smith,
will begin today his three-day visit to Vietnam, invited by the owner of the
National Assembly of the host country, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

The Australian delegation is also composed of the Chief of the Secretariat of the
Office of the Lower House, Cate Clunies-Ross; the ambbadador of Australia to
Vietnam, Craig Chittick; the political advisor, Charity Christine; and the second
secretary, Anna Coleman.

Vietnam and
Australia celebrates the 45th anniversary of the creation of the
diplomatic relations

During your visit
in the land of the ocean last March, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan
Phuc, and his counterpart, Malcolm Turnbull, signed the Joint Declaration on
establishment of a bilateral strategic partnership.

In 2017, the

partner of Hanoi.
