They observe low levels of project execution in the Turquino plan

The Permanent Work Commission of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power in Holguín, which addresses agri-food and industrial issues, found that scientific projects and technological innovation they could promote the financing of economic and social activities beneficial to the Turquino plan.

According to the results of a control and inspection carried out by the aforementioned commission, steps were taken to reverse this situation and the relevant coordination was established with the provincial delegation of the Ministry of Science , Technology and the Environment (CITMA) and businesses, to identify issues that could generate projects.

One of the approved actions was to train representatives of the five Holguín municipalities included in the Turquino Plan, namely Cueto, Mayarí, "Frank País", Sagua de Tánamo and Moa, in order to establish to initiate the exploratory phase and the identification of the endogenous potentialities of these territories.

The survey conducted by the above-mentioned working committee highlighted among the existing common problems the marked deterioration of the roads, which affects pbadenger transport, despite the new equipment.

A program comprising 14 actions has been approved. to be carried out by the agencies involved in the task and the municipal councils corresponding to Cueto, Mayarí, "Frank País", Sagua de Tánamo and Moa.
