UN Secretary-General António Guterres, strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks of Pakistan against political rallies and candidates, who made 132 dead and about 140 wounded .

Guterres conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims, the government and the people of Pakistan, said a statement by deputy spokesman General Secretary Farhan Haq.

"The United Nations stands in solidarity and supports the efforts of the Pakistani government in its fight against terrorism," the statement said.
