A vast program of activities will be carried out by the women and families of Villa Clara to celebrate the 58th anniversary of the founding of the Federation of Cuban Women, date to commemorate August 23rd.

Meanwhile, in each municipality on August 15 and 16, recognitions will be made to women from different sectors with a strong female presence. Meetings between former leaders and youth of the organization will not fail to share experiences about the goals that are behind the CMF and the current tasks, especially the X Congress. it takes place in delegations and blocks, and will continue in September with the municipal bademblies of Encrucijada, Corralillo, Camajuani and Quemado de Güines
There will also be spaces for dialogue with the women of the FMC-ANAP brigades , an important moment to recognize peasants and co-op members, in addition to holding meetings with athletes and high-level athletes.
An executive of Villa Clara took the opportunity to present the results of the emulation for the celebration of the 58th anniversary of the FMC. The first place corresponded to Encrucijada, followed by Camajuaní, Corralillo, Quemado de Güines and Sagua la Grande, in that order, and conveyed a recognition to the militant and federated leaders of these territories and to Villa Clara in general.
The provincial central act for the anniversary will be in the municipality of Camajuaní but there are other activities and meetings in the important commemoration, like politico-cultural galas; and the central activity for the 58th anniversary of the organization will be in Camajuaní.
