Microsoft has released cumulative update KB4501835 for Windows 10 October 2018 and Windows Server 2019. This update has just started, so it may not be available in all regions.
To check if the update is available, you can open settings via the Start menu and go to Update and security -> Windows Update and select Check for updates. If you have multiple computers or if you want to manually fix the computers, you will be able to download and install this update from here.
Before you install the KB4501835 update, Microsoft recommends that you install the KB4493510 Service Stack Update for version 1809, released April 2, 2019.
Build 17763.439 for October 2018 Device Update
When installing this update, your version of Windows 10 will increase to 17763.439. This release contains the following fixes:
- Resolves a problem that prevents the CALDATETIME structure to handle more than four Japanese eras. For more information, see KB4469068.
- Update the NLS registry to support the new Japanese era. For more information, see KB4469068.
- Resolves an issue that caused DateTimePicker to display the date incorrectly in the Japanese date format. For more information, see KB4469068.
- Resolves an issue that causes the Date and Time Settings control to cache old periods and prevents it from updating the control when the time enters the new Japanese era. For more information, see KB4469068.
- Update fonts to support the new Japanese era. For more information, see KB4469068.
- Resolves an issue that prevents an Input Method Editor (IME) from supporting the new Era Japanese character. For more information, see KB4469068.
- Resolves an issue that caused the day of the week to be incorrectly displayed by the Clock and Calendar drop-down control on a date in the month of the new Japanese era. For more information, see KB4469068.
- Adds alternative fonts for new Japanese Era fonts. For more information, see KB4469068.
- Enables speech synthesis feature (TTS) to support new characters of the Japanese era. For more information, see KB4469068.
- Resolves an issue in the Unified Write Filter (UWF) that prevents HORM (Hibernate Once / Resume Many) operation as expected on Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) systems.
If you have installed earlier updates, only the new patches contained in this package will be downloaded and installed on your device.

Microsoft is preparing for the release of the 1903 version
The May 2019 update to be released this month, Microsoft has released KB4497092 titled "Compatibility Update for Upgrade to Windows 10, Version 1903: May 1, 2019".
This update brings changes to the Windows Update experience so that the Windows 10 May 2019 update can be installed without problems.
Last week, Microsoft said that the installation of the 1903 version would be blocked if a computer or an SD card was connected to the machine. This was because the drive letters of the USB drives or SD cards could be reassigned to cause a conflict.
Microsoft has announced that it will release a Windows 10 service update to address this issue. We do not know if this update is the one that solves this problem.
