The first woman to publicly accuse Governor Andrew Cuomo of sexual harassment has claimed he once joked that he would “ride” her if he was a dog, according to a new report.

Lindsey Boylan, a former governor’s aide, revealed Cuomo’s chilling remark in a lengthy interview with The New Yorker’s Ronan Farrow, telling him that Cuomo made the crass joke in 2018 after a meeting at the governor’s mansion.

Boylan, 36, who is one of seven women to bring sexual misconduct charges against the governor, said he made the comment after Cuomo’s dog – a German Shepherd mix named Captain – made the comment. jumped near her.

She said she tried to calm the dog down, then backed up.

Then, Boylan said, Cuomo joked that he would try to “ride” her too if he was a dog.

“I remember being disgusted, but also, like, what a stupid third-grade thing to say,” Boylan told the magazine.

“I just shrugged my shoulders,” she said.

A spokesperson for the governor did not immediately return the request for comment.

Boylan first accused Cuomo of sexual harassment in a series of December tweets, then detailed the governor’s alleged behavior in a detailed article on the Medium website.

She alleged Cuomo kissed her “on the lips” without warning in her Manhattan office in 2018 – and also claimed the governor asked her to play strip poker a year earlier on a private plane.

Cuomo denied the charges and said he never touched anyone inappropriately.

In the New Yorker interview, Boylan said his former administration boss Howard Zemsky once told him Cuomo had a “crush” on her.

She also recalled an extremely toxic workplace under the governor, where assistants were reduced to tears and her political opponents were the butt of childish games.

She recalled a time when Cuomo allegedly mocked an aide’s haircut, leaving her in tears.

The governor also made fun of the weight of a former male staff member, Boylan said.

“It was toxic, and especially for women,” she said in the interview during her time in the governor’s office.

Boylan also said Cuomo, a longtime political enemy of New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, had a dart board bearing the mayor’s face on the grounds of the governor’s mansion.

“I couldn’t believe how cheeky it was,” she told the magazine.
