Studio MDHR said they wanted to continue refining CupheadDLC, and will not compromise the quality of the game in the pursuit of the add-on’s release this year.

Rather than compromise on our vision in response to COVID, we made the difficult decision to delay the release of The delicious last dish until we are convinced it will delight the Cuphead community as we think it is.
Cuphead: The delicious last dish will add a whole new island to explore and a new character, Ms. Chalice. The add-on is in development for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One.
Studio MDHR released the original Cuphead for PlayStation 4 in July, and is also working with Netflix on an animated series called The Cuphead Show!
