Barry is expected to hit the coast of Louisiana on Saturday, July 13 in St. Mary's Parish. The following cities are now subject to curfews:

Acadia Parish

Church Point – A curfew at the citywide starting at 10pm. Friday until 7 pm Sunday.

Iberia Parish

New Iberia – The city of New Iberia has imposed a curfew for the entire city. The curfew is effective from Friday, July 12 from 22:00. it will resume its effects on Saturday, July 13 from 22h. until 6 pm. Only emergency personnel will be allowed on the roads during curfew hours.

The New Iberia Police Department reminds citizens to stay safe throughout the storm. Slashed trees, power lines and floods are expected. The non-urgent number of the New Iberia Police Department is (337) -369-2306.

Delcambre – On order of the police chief, a curfew was fixed at 22 hours. at 6 pm tonight (Friday) and at 10 pm until 6 pm tomorrow (Saturday) night.

Jeanerette – The City of Jeanerette has imposed a curfew for the entire city from Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13 from 22h to 6h.

St. Martin Parish

In the interest of public safety, St. Martin Parish President Chester R. Cedars has declared a curfew for the entire St. Martin Parish beginning tonight from 10:00 pm. at 7:00, and the Saturday evening from Sunday morning to dawn.

St. Mary Parish

Parish President David Hanagriff declared an effective evacuation at noon for St. Mary's Parish.

A curfew at the parish level will be announced later today.

Vermilion Parish

Gueydan – July 12th from 9pm to 5am.

Abbeville – curfew at the citywide scale for the entire city of Abbeville. The curfew is in effect from 23:00. tonight until sunrise. This curfew will be in effect each night until the cancellation of the state of emergency. Nobody other than emergency personnel will be allowed on the roads. The Abbeville Police Service wishes to remind all citizens to stay safe throughout this incident. This includes the consequences of the passing storm. Slashed trees, power lines and floods are expected.

Mauritius – a curfew in the village of Mauritius from 23:00 to 17:00 on Friday and Saturday 12 and 13 July. This curfew can be extended as needed.

Erath – a curfew in the city from Friday at 23h until Saturday at 5 am and Saturday from 23 pm until 5 pm on Sunday.
