[ad_1]

This story is part of Holiday gift guide 2020, CNET’s Gift Picks with expert advice, reviews and recommendations for the latest tech gifts for you and your family.

Cyber monday The TV offers are here and they are just around the corner. If you’ve got a new TV on your holiday shopping list, you’ve come to the right place. Advance sales to Best buy, Walmart, Target and Amazon has seen most of the best deals sell out quickly and inventory is now pretty slim, especially on well-known brands like Sony, LG, Samsung, Vizio, and TCL. However, retailers sometimes keep inventory on hand to reinvigorate the sales pool, and good deals come back in stock regularly. This means that if you don’t see the TV deal you want now, it may pay off to wait until Cyber Monday proper – November 30 – to see if that model comes back in stock.

That said, if you’re ready to pull the trigger now, we’ve rounded up our favorite TV deals from some of the best-known retailers and you can still find plenty of discounted models in all sizes, with small ones as low as 100. $ and $ 65. -inchers going like barely $ 250. And most are all smart TVs, many of which run Roku, Android TV, or Amazon Fire TV operating systems.

If you are looking for a cheap TV, here’s a quick cheat sheet of what we’d call a “good deal” for every common screen size this season:

  • 32 inches for $ 120
  • 40 to 43 inches for 150 $
  • 50 inches for $ 300
  • 55 inches for $ 350
  • 65 inches for $ 500
  • 75 inches for $ 700

The prices above are approximate for TVs that we don’t typically review at CNET. We don’t review them because their image quality is basically the same: poor, but maybe good enough for most people. Expect to pay hundreds more for best televisions.

Our favorite TV deals are curated below and we’re constantly updating the list. Full disclosure, many of these deals were Black Friday deals that continued through Cyber Monday, but we’re putting the latest deals on our mind. Also note that these offers are constantly evolving and this article is updated regularly to reflect new, higher quality offers and expired discounts.

Cyber Monday 2020: the best TV deals available now

Best buy

How does an 82 inch Samsung get hold of you? No, we haven’t reviewed this model, but if you’re a Samsung fan and want the absolute biggest screen you can get for your money, this one will be hard to beat.

Sarah Tew / CNET

We haven’t yet reviewed Vizio’s first OLED TV – the company shipped samples late due to COVID-19 – but Vizio TVs have performed well in previous reviews and this price, compared to something like the LG CX below, might be too good to pass up.

There’s also a 55-inch waist on sale for $ 900, but it’s currently sold out online.

Samsung

As part of the Walmart sale on November 25, this TV was also available at Best Buy for the same price – until it sold online. It’s not the cheapest TV on the market at this size, and we’d expect models like the Vizio M-Series (which has local dimming) to perform better, but if you like the Samsung brand , this is a very good price.

Walmart

Are you looking for a mid-size television at a low price? This scepter does the trick. It has 4K resolution but its picture quality is probably much lower than that of the best 55-inch models, and it doesn’t even have a built-in smart TV, so you’ll have to factor in the price of a media streamer as well. (if you don’t already have one). But it’s still one of the cheapest prices we’ve seen on a TV of this size, and it’s actually in stock.

Walmart also offers a 55-inch version for $ 240.

Badge

This Insignia recently sold for $ 150, but Best Buy slashed the price by $ 50, making it significantly cheaper than the similarly sized Roku TV (below). However, this one is in and out of stock at Best Buy, making this Roku potentially easier to buy online.

Sarah Tew / CNET

It’s one of the best deals we’ve seen this year on a TV with the Roku operating system, which we like better than Fire TV or Android TV – although it’s a bit more expensive. This is a 1080p model, not 4K, so it won’t benefit from Roku’s AirPlay upgrade, but the lower resolution won’t affect picture quality much at this size. Read our review of the TCL S325 (Roku TV) series.

Sold out or expired offers

The deals below are mostly gone, but since they could come back at any time, we’re keeping them here for now. Some of the televisions below may also be available in stores in your area, although they are sold out online.

Best buy

TCL is best known for its Roku TVs, and we like the Roku smart TV system better than the Android TV version of this TV, but for that price you can just buy a Roku Streaming Stick Plus, attach it to this TV, and still go out in front. Intelligence aside, we’d expect this Series 4 TV to perform “fairly well,” as will the Roku equivalent.

Richard Peterson / CNET

This 55-inch version is great, but it’s out of stock. If you can afford it, get this 65-inch model instead. It’s the perfect size for the LG CX – it’s big enough to really appreciate its stellar picture quality. Read our LG CX series review.

Best buy

This is quite simply the best deal we have ever seen for Black Friday 2020. Slightly smaller than the 70 inch model and many cheaper, this TV will sell out fast once it shows up. The trap? It won’t be available until Saturday, November 28 – and we expect it to be immediately out of stock. Best Buy online offers typically arrive after midnight (1 a.m. ET, 10 p.m. PT). Good luck!

Amazon

That’s a spectacular price tag on a 50-inch TV, so expect it to sell out almost immediately.

TCL

Yes, we’ve seen 55 and even 65-inch TVs this season selling for as little as $ 230 to $ 250, but they were mostly models with Android TV.This TCL model is a 2020 update of the 4 series range of this company. It has the latest Roku smart TV system – which means you can get all channels except HBO Max, plus that AirPlay update – and a whopping 4 HDMI inputs. And it only costs $ 30 more than the 50-inch model. Its 4K image quality doesn’t match the 6 Series, but at this price point, there’s not much to complain about. Read our review of the 2019 model.

Best buy

We haven’t reviewed this set, and based on its specs, we don’t expect it to match the image quality of the best 75in models, but if you prioritize a view Overall over everything else, this is the cheapest price we’ve seen for a 70-inch TV, period. Like the TCL, it runs Android TV.

Sarah Tew / CNET

We’ve seen 70-inch TVs go down to $ 400, but that’s still a pretty good price on a gigantic TV. This model (V705x-H1) is very similar to the V705-H3, currently sold for $ 660. The V-Series is Vizio’s cheapest TV for 2020, and while we haven’t reviewed it, we do expect entry-level picture quality: good enough for most people, but not. as good as anything like the M series.

Sony

We haven’t reviewed this OLED, but we expect its image quality to be similar to that of the LG CX (as in: spectacular), and at Best Buy the 65-inch size is currently on sale lower. to that of the CX. We would still take the CX, however, mainly because the Sony lacks cutting-edge gaming extras. But if that doesn’t matter to you – or if the CX is out of stock – it’s a great deal.

Sarah Tew / CNET

One of our favorite pre-Black Friday deals on great TV is back. The X900H has the best picture quality of any TV on this list that isn’t an OLED, and includes cutting edge connectivity custom-designed for the new Xbox Series X and PS5.

Target

The best TV deal from Target’s first Black Friday sale is for another 70-inch TV that we haven’t reviewed. LG’s OLED sets (see below) will deliver a much better picture, but if you can’t afford a better TV and you don’t like the Hisense above, it’s still a great price.

This offer is currently out of stock online, but may be available at your local store.

David Katzmaier / CNET

The best TV we’ve ever reviewed is in a whole different league from Doors on this list, and it’s the best price of the year. We don’t expect the decline to continue this year, but even if it does, the price drop won’t be massive. Read our LG CX series review.

Walmart

This TV is the first item listed in the Walmart ad on November 11 before Black Friday, so we expected it to sell out quickly. The retailer’s Onn house brand isn’t known for its exceptional image quality, but we expect it to perform as well as the TCL 4 series (see below) and have the same excellent Roku operating system.

Speaking of TCL, this is the best price we’ve seen on a 55-inch TV this year. It’s basically the same as the 55S425 we loved so much, for about half the lowest price of this model ever. Much like Onn TV above, we expect it to sell out quickly.
