CD Projekt Red is delaying Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.2. In a series of tweets, the studio explained that the recent cyberattack combined with the “extended scope of the update” means it will take longer.
“Our goal for patch 1.2 goes beyond any of our previous updates,” the studio says. “We’ve worked on a lot of overall quality fixes and improvements, and we still have some work to do to make sure that’s what you get. With that in mind, we are now aiming for a release in the second half of March. ”
This update appears to have been the major fix that was previously slated for February, making the new end-of-March target a delay of about a month.

“This isn’t the news we like to share, but we want to make sure we launch this update properly,” the studio concludes. “Stay tuned for more information as the time approaches. Thank you for your continued patience and support.”

He used DMCA withdrawals to slow the spread of the stolen code. Cyberpunk 2077 code has since been reportedly auctioned off by hackers.
