Cyberpunk 2077 is 50% Console, 33% PC After One Month

The right version of Cyberpunk 2077 is now more expensive than the wrong versions, so everything is as it should, right? After a stunt of one-launch failures, the game got a notable discount just a week after release. Now, a month later, those cuts have become even more substantial, especially on console.

You can now get the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One Cyberpunk 2077 version for $ 29.99 from various retailers, which is 50% off the original retail price. The sale appears to have originated from a daily offer at Best Buy, but has since been matched by prices from other retailers, including Amazon.

The retail PC version, which is essentially a GOG code plus a few regular physical goodies, is also reduced by 33% on Amazon, bringing the price down to $ 39.99. These are, of course, only US prices, and while the game is discounted on Amazon UK, the savings are much less.

Games are getting a quick discount these days, regardless of the quality, and you shouldn’t always take “ selling days ” as a measure of the quality of any title. However, it seems pretty clear that the console versions of Cyberpunk, at least, are in fairly low demand right now.

Cyberpunk 2077’s messy launch is back in the news after the holidays, as developers announced free DLC will be delayed until big fixes are in place, a new report has alleged mismanagement, a crunch, a “fake” E3 demo, and more, and CD Projekt has responded to a second investor class action lawsuit.
