Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt has missed a few more details about the game’s multiplayer component.
“So, first of all, we don’t call it fads,” CD Projekt CEO Adam Kaciński said during an investor call last week, referring to Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer (as translated by Seeking Alpha). “It’s a separate dedicated production, a large production. We see it as a stand-alone product.”
News has been quiet on Cyberpunk 2077’s multiplayer front, but it was very intentional. Kaciński went on to say that although the CD Projekt team have been working on the multiplayer mode, they have been slow to reveal any news about it in order to focus on the main game, which will launch in less than two weeks from. From now. December 10.
Currently, Cyberpunk 2077’s multiplayer component is slated to launch after 2021, according to previous comments from CD Projekt management. Earlier this year, studio management warned gamers not to expect the game’s multiplayer until at least next year, and that it is still a massive undertaking within CD Projekt. Additionally, Cyberpunk 2077’s multiplayer will not launch until after the game’s main DLC, which is now expected to be unveiled at some point after Cyberpunk 2077 launches this month.
It’s now less than two weeks before Cyberpunk 2077 finally launches on December 10. It will be available from day one for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and playable on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S via backward compatibility.
