Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has released official modding tools for the dystopian RPG, allowing players to create their own custom content.
Since its launch, there have been plenty of third-party mods for Cyberpunk 2077, including one that allowed you to play (badly) the game in third person. With official tools now available, floodgates are open for personalized quest content, asset swaps, and more. CD Projekt Red says the toolset will be updated with the game, which means mod compatibility shouldn’t be an issue.
This follows the first big patch for Cyberpunk 2077, which aimed to start fixing some of the game’s most pressing stability, performance, and scripting issues. While patch 1.1 has helped some gamers, it inadvertently introduced a revolutionary new bug that can interrupt the progress of your main story. CD Projekt Red is aware of this and has released a workaround for the issue until an appropriate fix is released.
Patch 1.1 is the first in a roadmap of fixes Cyberpunk 2077 will receive over the next few months, with the next major patch expected in February. CD Projekt Red announced the roadmap in a game launch apology video, promising to fix current issues before moving on to free DLC development. PS5 and Xbox Series X patches | S for Cyberpunk 2077 are expected later in 2021, though the game still won’t be on sale on PSN after its deletion.
Cyberpunk 2077 can deliver a captivating role-playing experience in a visually captivating world when functioning properly. In our Cyberpunk 2077 review, reviewer Kallie Plagge wrote, “The side quests and the characters they feature are the beacon shining through the neon-infused gloom of Night City, and they give you the opportunity to explore the best. basic RPG mechanics This is what carried me through an otherwise disappointing experience. “
