Cyberpunk 2077 Fans were treated to all sorts of surprises at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, including the release date of the game and the fact that Keanu Reeves plays a pretty important role in the title. In addition to that, we learned more about the upcoming game, such as the ability to finish the experience without having to take the life of another character. That said, the developers have now talked about the setting of Night City and the fact that players will not be limited to the limits of the city.
Lead Quest Designer Pawel Sasko recently met Eurogamer to discuss Cyberpunk 2077. During the interview, many topics were discussed, including the character of Keanu Reeves, the difficulties faced by the developers, the next generation, and so on. One of the aspects of the game that was noted was its setting. We all know Cyberpunk 2077 takes place in Night City, the futuristic metropolis filled with a myriad of people. However, players will not stay in the city all the time.
"Cyberspace is a very dangerous place, as you saw in this year's demo, you needed a lot of input networks that you needed support from, you were lying in the bathtub full of ice, because your body becomes a transfer of power, "said Sasko. "You access cyberspace at specific moments in your story, and in some cases you can explore it.
"But the game is not just about Night City, it's surrounded by the Badlands, you can leave the city and explore, see what the world looks like outside of the city, and … it looks tough. out of town, but you have quests there, contracts you can make, and the main story will send you there too, and there are some other surprises too … "
Cyberpunk 2077 should arrive April 16, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more on the highly anticipated title:
"Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world action-adventure story set in Night City, a megacity obsessed with power, glamor and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw attacking a unique implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character's cyberware, skills and play style and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you. "
