A cyclist said a teenage motorist struck other drivers in Texas in an attempt to detonate them from the tailpipes of his diesel truck’s tailpipe.
The Waller County Sheriff’s Office said six cyclists were struck by the vehicle.
Authorities said two cyclists were taken to a nearby medical center for treatment for injuries, according to the subsidiary of ABC KTRK. Two other cyclists were transported Houston for medical attention, where one of them was treated for a head injury.

In an interview with affiliate Fox KRIV, cyclist Chase Ferrell said a black diesel pickup truck slowed down and hit the gas to blow exhaust smoke towards him and other cyclists training for an upcoming Ironman event.
Ferrell said the driver attempted to perform the same maneuver on the cyclists in front of him, which culminated in the accident.
“The reason he couldn’t stop was because he was accelerating to blow more diesel on these riders,” Ferrell told KRIV. “He ended up hitting three people before his brakes even started.”
Ferrell added that the driver, identified as a 16-year-old male, remained at the scene and spoke to police after hitting the cyclists, according to KRIV. He added that the driver may have “made a mistake and overwrote them. “
“There was no reason for this to happen,” Ferrell said. “It wasn’t like he was on the phone. [He] definitely meant to try and scare these people [or] intimidate them in one way or another. “
Authorities failed to arrest the teenage driver for the incident on Saturday, the Fox subsidiary reported.
