A Czech international died Sunday night after being transported by a minibus and his teammates as he was returning home after a match after their driver fell asleep at the wheel.

Josef Sural, who played for Alanyaspor in Super Lig, was one of seven players who were in a minibus that crashed on Sunday, reported Reuters.
The team, which is fifth in the table, came back from their 1-1 draw with Kayserispor.
Unfortunately, Sural died at the hospital as a result of his injuries during the tragic incident, as confirmed on Monday the official Twitter account of the club.
"According to the information that I received from our police chief, although there are two drivers on board the vehicle, they both slept," said club president Hasan Cavusoglu, cited by the police. Reuters.
Sural and his six teammates were taken to the hospital, but the Czech midfielder could not be saved. The other six players were not in critical condition, according to Cavusoglu.

Aged 28, he joined Alanyaspor in January and made 11 appearances with the Turks. He was a Czech international, having represented his country 20 times.
